Formulation and QC Lab

A place to formulate the new polyol blend and continual improvement of the existing formulation.  It is also a place to eliminate the risk of non-conforming outcomes. It involves systems that safeguard the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of lab results by ensuring the early detection of results or measurement errors and the procedures to rectify them.

Water content titrator
To determine the water content of incoming raw materials and polyol blends. Water content is one of the main parameters to concern that may affect the quality of raw materials or polyol blend.

Viscometer
To determine the viscosity of incoming raw materials and polyol blends. Viscosity reading is important for injection machine setting.

Specific gravity tester
The determine the specific gravity and density of polyol blend. The reading is useful for injection machine equipped with inverter.

Centrifuge
The check the stability of polyol blend and make sure no separation observed.

FTIR spectrophotometer
It is an important machine for incoming raw material quality control. The machine to be used to compare the spectrum of incoming raw materials with library and only the material with 99% similarity can be accepted.

Universal tester
To determine the tensile strength, compressive strength and tear strength of foam using ASTM standard.

Thermal conductivity tester
To measure the thermal conductivity value (K value) of foam according to ASTM. K value can be used to calculate thermal resistant value (R value) and heat transfer value (U value).

Closed cell content tester
To determine closed cell content, open cell content and density of foam according to ASTM

R&D Lab
A lab for new product development for new application beside of rigid foam application. Up stream product may also be created here such as natural base polyol.
